
SHREWSBURY, Mo. (KMOX) - A highway in St. Louis was nearly brought to a halt Tuesday morning due to an accident where a tractor-trailer slid off the roadway.
The cab of the jack-knifed Pepsi truck was dangling off the edge of Interstate-44 near Shrewsbury Avenue in St. Louis County around 10 a.m. The back end of the truck, which was lifted off the ground, was blocking three lanes of traffic with emergency crews on scene:
St. Louis Post-Dispatch photographer David Carson shared some incredible images of the rescue taking place.
According to the Post-Dispatch, there's been no information released on the condition of those involved in the accident.
