ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Missouri's Republican party chair says Donald Trump won all 114 counties and the city of St. Louis in Saturday's presidential caucuses.
Nick Myers says in a written statement, "Missouri Republicans have spoken loud and clear - affirming their trust in President Trump's leadership - and rejecting the failed policies of the Democrats in Washington."
Myers says a remarkable turnout underscores the unified support across every corner of Missouri, "Republicans are tired of the failed Democrat policies in D.C. that have resulted in higher crime, open borders, and out of control spending."
More than 900 people showed-up at the Second Congressional District site at Parkway West High School.
U.S. Senator Eric Schmitt nominated Mr. Trump at that site.
We're told Trump received 794 votes there to Nikki Haley's 174.
This is the first time Missouri Republicans have chosen a presidential candidate by caucus.
