St. Louis City Police are investigating two bodies found in College Hill Tuesday morning. The first, a female, was found at 2100 Grand and the second was a male found an hour later at 1900 Obear, about a quarter mile away.
Police say they received a call before 7 am about a woman being attacked. They were unable to find her until after a second 911 call came in about a body found inside the old Good Hope Missionary Church on Grand.
The second body, a male, was found when police were searching the area for evidence related to the first body. St. Louis City Police Spokesman McCoy says bullet casings found in the area of the second body.
"Our crime lab and our detectives will be able to determine if the shell casings that we're finding here at the scene are in anyway connected to the homicide investigation this morning."
McCoy says they are unsure at this time if the two bodies found are connected.
"Detectives are looking to see if there is anything that connects these two scenes together other than the apparent, obvious location of these two victims."
The investigation remains ongoing.
