The National Weather Service confirms two EF1 tornadoes touched down in Lincoln and Warren Counties Friday night.
The Troy Missouri twister packed wind speeds of 95 miles per hour and while there were no injuries reported, there was significant damage to trees and structures. In Wentzville, besides a lot of structural damage, there were downed power lines along Highway 61. Adrian Bowman tells our news partners at Fox 2 he thought it was a tornado.
The Wentzville storms brought 65 mile per hour wind. The Pinckney tornado was on the ground for two minutes with a path length of 1.63-miles.
Lincoln County Emergency Manager Quenton Laws says here was light damage on the East and West sides of Lincoln County. The Troy tornado had a path length of 3-point-72 miles and was on the ground for 5 minutes.
