(KMOX) - The Major Case Squad is investigating after two separate incidents over the weekend that left two people dead in the Metro East.
First, police say 33-year old Tykeisha Marie Dixon Henderson was found dead Saturday at Illinois Route 143 and Goshen Road. That's near Edwardsville, Illinois. The victim had been reported missing by her family from Roswell, Georgia.
Henderson's husband, 39-year old Luther Lee Henderson Jr., is also missing. The Major Case Squad says it is working with authorities in Georgia to piece the investigation together.
Separately, an investigation also underway to find two persons of interest in a homicide at a gas station in Sauget, Illinois.
46-year old Terrell Vance of Florissant was found dead at a Motomart parking lot on Mississippi Avenue at 12:30 Sunday morning. Vance had been shot.
Anyone with information about either of the two incidents are asked to contact police.
