ST. CHARLES COUNTY (KMOX) - Police are searching for the suspects who snuck into a woman's vehicle and stole it while she was pumping gas at St. Charles County gas station last week.
St. Charles County Police say it happened at the BP gas station at 14010 Hwy 67 on Thursday around 10 a.m. The entire theft was caught on video.
"This is unconscionable and extremely dangerous! Investigators need the public’s assistance in locating the suspects responsible," police say.
You can see the suspect's vehicle pull up to the driver side of the victim's vehicle, then one suspect gets out of the back seat and slowly opens the victim's door, slides in and takes off.
Police say both the suspect's vehicle and the stolen vehicle were last seen traveling south on Highway 67 into St. Louis County. Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Martin at 636-949-7900, ext. 2557, or leave an anonymous tip at 636-949-3002.
