TROY, MO (KMOX) - The Lincoln County Sheriff's office has issued a public safety alert for anyone living around Winding Woods Drive in Troy Missouri.
This afternoon, Deputies responded to the scene and heard gunshots coming from a home.
Two adult females were safely removed from the house. A police perimeter was set up around the area.
A search is underway for an adult male, Highway Patrol, Troy and Moscow Mills Police and Lincoln County Sheriffs are actively working this case.
Authorities request all residents in the vicinity of Winding Woods Drive remain indoors and stay away from the police scene.
