Baseball Hall of Fame member Yogi Berra is finally getting his due with a new documentary at movie theaters nationwide. It Ain't Over tells the story of Lawrence Peter “Yogi” Berra from his youth on "The Hill" in St Louis, through his days in World War II and his golden era as a New York Yankee.

"I do think that most people know something about who Yogi Berra was," says Lindsay Berra, "but I think that there's a bit of of a recency-bias in that his commercials, and the funny sayings, and the fact that presidents use 'Yogi-isms'. I think that has kind of actually eclipsed his on-field accomplishments, and people don't really realize what a tremendous baseball player he was."

"I feel that he's constantly overlooked in the conversation of the greatest catchers of all time, the greatest players of all time," continues Berra, "with ten World Series Championships, he can't be overlooked in that conversation."

In addition to the 10 World Series rings, Berra won three American League Most Valuable Player Awards and made 18 All-Star appearances.

Lindsay Berra and director Sean Mullin joined Carol Daniel, Tom Ackerman and Megan Lynch on Total Information AM.

"As great of a ballplayer as he was, he was an even better person," says Mullin. "He was such an authentic human, he was kind of tapped into some sort of higher universal wavelength I felt like. He just had no filter. What he said, he felt. What he felt was right, and it just kind of came right out.

The documentary includes interviews with Yankee greats Derek Jeter, Joe Torre, Mariano Rivera, Willie Randolph, Don Mattingly, and Joe Girardi, plus actor Billy Crystal, Bob Costas, Suzyn Waldman and Dodgers broadcaster Vin Scully.
