Sometimes, your only competition is yourself. And even then some of us cheat.
What's the point? You'd have to ask some ardent players of the popular word game Wordle.
Since the game's acquisition by the New York Times, cheating on it has risen 196%. "Cheating for the game is at an all-time high and only growing," says the NY Post.
The data was found by analyzing “Google Trends data over the past three months” to see how often players looked up answers online.
And per the study, the state of New Hampshire has cheated on the game the most, with Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington D.C., and Massachusetts rounding out the top five.
