The men escaped from Pulaski County Jail and have not yet been found. They were seen late Saturday in a stolen 2015 Kia Sedona minivan, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said on Twitter.

Authorities identified the five men as Tyree Williams, 33, Lewis Evans, 22, Tyres Jackson, 27, Brandon Pooler, 24, and Dennis Penix, 28.

According to the Bureau, the group is considered dangerous and is also armed with two tasers.

Williams and Penix were both locked up on murder charges, according to WSBTV.

Penix was reportedly imprisoned after allegedly killing two men after a drug deal had “gone bad,” WSBTV reported. Williams was charged with murder after a shooting during a July 2020 home invasion.

If the men are seen, the Bureau is requesting the public call 911 and stay away from them and anyone they encounter.
