Vice President Kamala Harris wants another one-on-one debate with her opponent for the Presidency and laid down another challenge to former President Donald Trump at a campaign rally Sunday.
Speaking to her supporters in Las Vegas, Nev., Harris used some of the local parlance in calling Trump out.
“The American people have a right to hear us discuss the issues,” Harris said. “And as you say here in Las Vegas, I’m all in. I’m all in, even if my opponent is ready to fold.”
Harris used her time at the podium to contrast her policy views with Trump’s, saying the two have “two very different visions” for America.
She also expressed confidence in her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, ahead of his own debate appearance. He’ll square off with Sen.
J.D. Vance for 90 minutes Tuesday night.
But, Harris said, she feels the American people deserve to see her and Trump face off again, stating the Vice Presidential Debate “should not be the last word.”
