Police officers these days are used to all sorts of tactics folks use to try and get out of tickets. Most times, they don’t work.
An officer pulled over a driver outside Minneapolis, Minnesota last week, and when he asked for his license and registration, the driver handed over his license, along with a Monopoly card…a “Get Out of Jail Free” card!
The Chisago County Sheriff's Office wrote on Facebook that “Unfortunately the state of Minnesota does not recognize this as a valid document.
“Points for the effort and humor though!”
Despite Minnesota not “recognizing” the Monopoly card as an official document, according to WFLA, the driver was let off with a verbal warning, and allowed to leave!
