Two men were injured, with one having to be hospitalized, when they were bitten by a camel in a Minnesota zoo.

The men were employees of the Hemker Park and Zoo and were walking with the camel, preparing it for transport to a different facility. Suddenly, the camel put his mouth on the head of one of the workers and bit down, then dragged him by his head for 15 feet, according to the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office.
The man was freed by his co-worker, who put a plastic walking board in the animal’s mouth to let him out. But as he escaped, the camel turned on the other worker and bit down on his head as well.
That man was able to free himself and would later refuse medical treatment.
The first worker though, a 32-year-old man, had to be flown to the hospital though the injuries he sustained are not life-threatening.
“The camel was not injured during the interaction and remains in good health,” the zoo said in a post on Facebook.
