The suspect believed to be responsible for the Monterey Park shooting that took the lives of at least 10 and injured 10 more on Saturday night has died, according to CBS News.
The outlet, citing a law enforcement source, reported the man shot and killed himself inside the white van.
Deputies have yet to publicly confirm this.
At the scene of the standoff in Torrance was KNX News’ Nataly Tavidian who reported before the news conference that she could see a bullet hole in the side of a white van that police believed to be linked to the shooting. Inside she reported seeing a person slouched over inside.
A motive in the mass shooting is still unknown and the investigation is ongoing. The suspect has also not yet been named by the authorities.
