New York third-party congressional candidate Mike Itkis has been very vocal about his support of legalizing sex work. Now he has put his… err… money where his mouth is.

Enlisting the aid of adult film star Nicole Sage, Itkis self-shot his own pornographic video and posted it on popular adult site PornHub.

An Army cyber operations officer by trade, the 53-year-old candidate is trying to unseat Rep. Jerry Nadler in New York’s 12th district, which includes Manhattan.

“If I would just talk about it, it wouldn’t demonstrate my commitment to the issue,” Itkis told City & State about the video. “And the fact I actually did it was a huge learning experience, and it actually influenced items on my platform.”

According to Itkis’s campaign website, he’s running on a number of sex-positivity issues.

In addition to legalizing sex work, Itkis wants to specifically codify rights that ensure sexual freedom for Americans. “Do NOT rely on privacy or free speech rights,” his website reads.

Itkis also seems to take exception to laws that require child support payments from men who father a child, writing on his campaign website that “men should not be required to support biological children without prior agreement.” He is also relatively progressive on abortion rights, which would seem to indicate his political platform is essentially in favor of no-strings-attached sexual exploration.

This assumption is bolstered by his official bio, which lists him as “Not married. No kids. Not celibate. Atheist.”

The video, titled “Bucket List Bonanza,” was directed by Sage and is the only video posted to PornHub under the official “Mike Itkis” account. It has been viewed over 6,700 times in the three months since it went live and sports a 58% approval rating.
