Police have arrested a man who broke into a Seattle home on Friday night after they found him fully clothed in a bathtub filled with water in the home.
The Seattle Police Department shared in a blotter that they were called to the house by the homeowner after she returned home and found one of her windows smashed and an unknown person inside.
The woman stayed outside the home as she called the police, and after officers arrived, they instructed anyone in the house to come outside but received no reply, the department shared.
The officers then entered the home, searching for the unknown suspect, and they found him inside the bathroom in his peculiar situation.
According to the blotter from the department, when they found the man, he “was clothed but very wet, and the bathtub was full of water.”
Police questioned the 27-year-old man, who was not identified by the department. He refused to answer questions about why he had entered the home and why he was in the tub of water fully clothed.
He has been booked for residential burglary in King County Jail.
