A drive-by shooting at a Richfield area school has left one dead, one in critical condition.
Police are on scene at the South Education Center and are reportedly entering to clear the building, but the suspect is believed to have left the scene.
Ambulances and other first responders are also outside of the school and a section of the sidewalk has been taped off.

The victims of the shooting have been identified as students and one remains in critical condition. Parents of the victims have been notified, according to WCCO-TV.
The building has since been evacuated after being on lockdown for more than hour.
A statement from Richfield Middle School Principal Erica Barlow shared that the police had "accidentally" showed up to the wrong building while responding to the call coming from the South Education Center.
"The officers had weapons drawn and were in bullet-proof vests. It is unlikely that many students witnessed the event, as they were in class at the time," Barlow wrote. "However, it is important that you are aware of the incident in the event that your child hears about it, as some children may be deeply impacted by this type of news."
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz also shared that he is being briefed on the incident taking place at the school.
This is a developing story.
