A man was killed in a skydiving accident on Saturday in Florida. The man was found wearing parachuting gear on the lawn of a home in the coastal city of Titusville.
The discovery of the skydiver has sparked an investigation by the Titusville Police Department. The department shared that detectives believe the man was parachuting by himself.
The Titusville Fire Department first posted on social media about the incident after responders arrived at the home.
The identity of the man who was pronounced dead on the scene has not yet been shared by the police.
The residence where the man was found is a block from the Arthur Dunn Airpark, which is a public airport where several skydiving centers are located.
