Fort Worth police body cam video shows the very moment officers found an abducted baby this week.
On Monday night, a woman called 9-1-1 to say a man had stolen her car with her six-month-old baby inside.
Police flooded the neighborhood and within an hour they found the stolen car and arrested the suspect. But the baby was missing.
Police put the suspect in a squad car and ordered him to direct them to the baby. They found the infant in a ravine at the end of a deadend street. Video shows an officer, now identified as Gang Unit Sergeant Ronnie Chau, cradling the infant in his arms and soothing him as he was taken to another squad car.
The baby was checked out by MedStar paramedics and returned to his mom.
The man they arrested is up on a long list of charges including Kidnapping, Abandoning or Endangering a Child and Auto Theft.
