St. Louis (KMOX) -- We may find out on Thursday the outcome of the St. Louis County mask lawsuit filed by Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt.

On Wednesday, a judge gave both sides 24 hours to come up with a solution.

If that does not happen, the judge must decide what to do about the July mask mandate that was issued by County Executive Sam Page and then revoked by the County Council.

Whichever side loses is expected to appeal all the way to the Missouri Supreme Court.

This story will be updated throughout the day on KMOX.com.
