ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Missouri Rep. Cori Bush (D) announced Wednesday on X, formerly known as Twitter, she has tested positive for COVID-19.

Bush says she is experiencing symptoms and is currently in isolation.

Bush says that she will continue to be able to work remotely and serve her duties as the representative for city of St. Louis, but she will be unable to handle in-person legislative duties.

Bush's diagnosis comes days after she and fellow U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocavio-Cortez joined UAW picketers outside the General Motors plant in Wentzville, Missouri, in support of the workers as the ongoing UAW strike still continues.
