The Quaff Bar and Grill in downtown Kansas City announced it would no longer sell Russian vodkas, instead would promote Ukrainian vodka, and donate proceeds to humanitarian efforts.

Russian vodka was pulled off the shelf over the weekend at a local HyVee grocery store.

In Wichita, Kansas a liquor store pulled bottles of Russian vodka off its shelves, poured some out, and stowed the rest in the back, reported KSN.

“I guess this is our sanction. We don’t support it. There’s no reason to support it. There’s no reason for them to invade the Ukrainians, and this may be small, but every small thing makes a difference," said Jamie Stratton with the Jacob Liquor Exchange.

Just 1.2% of US vodka imports come from Russia, according to USA Today.

The top vodka brands in the US - Smirnoff, Tito’s, Absolut, Sveda, Grey Goose, Skyy - are not vodkas made in Russia.
