While not often thought of as an area rich in paleontological history or findings, in the boot heel of Missouri is where you can find fossils from different species of dinosaur.
Casey Holliday, professor of Pathology and Anatomical studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia, joined KMOX's The Show to talk about how the state has played an important role in the world of paleontology. Holliday provided details on the little known state dinosaur of Missouri as well as having fun with hosts Amy Marxkors and Chris Rongey.
