ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - We're keeping track of a storm system that's likely to bring some snow to the St. Louis area overnight Thursday and throughout Friday.
AccuWeather and KMOX meteorologist Dean DeVore says although temperatures may reach the 50s on Thursday, some rain in the evening and into the night could end as snow showers.
The forecast says a "renewed" snow storm could also hit the St. Louis area on Friday afternoon and into the evening. DeVore says that's when we're likely to see the most snow.
An inch or two is likely, especially for areas to the north and west of downtown St. Louis.
The cold weather will stick around this weekend in St. Louis, with more snow flurries in the forecast for Saturday. Highs are 37-degrees for Friday, Saturday and Sunday in St. Louis.
