ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for the greater St. Louis area until 9 p.m.
The National Weather Service issued the update Monday afternoon saying the storm could bring scattered hail up to 2 inches in diameter, wind gusts up to 70 mph and a tornado or two.
The watch is in effect from Peoria to the St. Louis area.
