Unease in the Russian Orthodox community, over how the Church's leader is supporting Vladamir Putin's invasion of Ukraine. "I think what the patriarch and his minions over there are doing is a travesty to Orthodoxy," declares the head of the Orthodox Public Affairs Committee -- George Gagicas.

Gagicas tells KMOX, it is shameful how Patriarch Kirill has given his unjustified support to the invasion, "you have 1/3 of this man's flock is still in Ukraine. You're asking orthodox soldiers from Russia to go into Ukraine and kill their brothers and sisters in Christ."

Gagicas says the Patriarch needs to be sanctioned like an Oligarch, condemned and excommunicated from the church for what he's doing.
