ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - WWE announced Tuesday that St. Louis will host a show for it's development brand NXT when the brand makes it's broadcast debut on The CW Network in October.

The Enterprise Center will host NXT on Tuesday, Oct. 8 and as part of the show, it will feature legendary WWE Superstar and St. Louis-native Randy Orton.

Orton posted on his X, formerly known as Twitter account hype up the show.

Launched by WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, NXT has served as WWE's development brand for it's young talent since it launched in 2012. Among the wrestlers who started their careers in NXT include Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and many more.

NXT has mostly filmed their shows in studios at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, but with NXT moving from USA Network to The CW in October as part of a new five-year TV deal, the first two NXT shows on The CW will be on the road, beginning on Oct. 1 in Chicago at the Allstate Arena. That show will feature an appearance from Chicago-native CM Punk.

Tickets for the show will go on sale on Thursday, Aug. 15 at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster.
