The pandemic and the holidays are having a huge impact on hunger in the USA ... with food pantries scrambling to fill the need. Brian Walker -- President of the Kansas Food Bank in Wichita -- tells KNSS News food demand is up by 39 percent over last year. Walker says food donations are also down by 216 percent from last year. The Food Bank provides food to about 700 agencies in 85 counties in Kansas. Walker says filling the needs of the hungry this year has "just been crazy".
