A body of a man was found Saturday in the Walnut River in Cowley County.
Both Butler County and the Cowley County Sheriff's Office is investigating this case. According to Butler County Sheriff Kelly Herzet, a fisherman reported the body to Cowley County 9-1-1. Herzet says the man's body was badly decomposed and a positive identification is not possible until an autopsy is conducted.
No other details were immediately released.
