An earthquake shook the Wichita area at 10:54 a.m. Tuesday.
The Kansas Geological Survey recorded a 3.3-magnitude quake centered south of 21st & Webb in the northeast part of Wichita.
The U.S. Geological Survey recorded a 3.0-magnitude earthquake, with its epicenter to the east of the lake at Bradley Fair shopping center, not far from 21st & Rock Road.
The earthquake was recorded at a depth of about three miles.
This was the strongest among a series of four light earthquakes since Thanksgiving centered in the northeast part of Wichita.
