One person died in a crash during rush hour Friday in west Wichita. It happened on I-235 near Zoo Boulevard.
Troopers say a truck and a semi in the southbound lanes, were unable to unable to reduce speed in time for slow traffic, and crashed into each other. The semi then went into the northbound lane where it was struck by two cars.
The driver of one of those vehicles was killed. Four other people were injured.
