One person is dead ... after a house fire this morning in south Wichita. Just before 9:30 first responders were called to 1846 south Water ... with reports of someone possibly trapped in the burning structure. Firefighters reported heavy fire coming from the rear of the house, the attic, and the garage. Fifteen minutes after their arrival on the scene, firefighters located a body in the house.
