Wichita Police have identified the man killed Thursday night in a motorcycle crash in the northeast part of the city.
It happened just before 6:55 p.m., at K-96 and Greenwich Road. Sedgwick County 911 received calls about an injury accident at the intersection involving a SUV and a motorcycle.
Officers arrived and found 21-year-old Bader Nassar lying in the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The preliminary investigation indicates that the SUV began to turn left to northbound Greenwich Road from K-96 when it collided with the motorcycle that was traveling westbound from Greenwich Court to westbound K-96. The 16-year-old driver and 41-year-old passenger in the vehicle remained on the scene.
Police believe that speed may have been a contributing factor in the crash.
