Members of the Kansas congressional delegation have condemned the storming of the U.S. Capitol by supporters of President Donald Trump.
Republican Sen. Roger Marshall called the violence in Washington "unreasonable," and GOP Sen. Jerry Moran deemed it "unpatriotic." Republican Rep. Tracey Mann also called it unacceptable, and GOP Rep. Ron Estes said any violence is unacceptable.
Republican Rep. Jake LaTurner said the violence was an "utter betrayal" of the right to assemble peacefully. The lone Democrat in the Kansas delegation is Rep. Sharice Davids, and she suggested Trump had encouraged "despicable behavior."
