Here are the local COVID-19 numbers for Monday, April 13, 2020:
Kansas, with a total population of more than 2.9 million people, has 1,376 positive cases of the virus, up less than 3% from Sunday.
Among those tested in the state, 90% have tested negative for the coronavirus, and 10% positive. The state says 28.6% of cases have required hospitalization; fewer than 0.5% of Kansas residents have been tested.
47% of the state's positive cases are coming from Johnson and Wyandotte counties in northeast Kansas.
16.6% of the state's positive cases have been recorded in Sedgwick County and its surrounding counties.
There have been 309 hospitalizations for the virus in Kansas, up 5.4% from Saturday. Among those hospitalized in Kansas with COVID-19, 20% have resulted in death.
Six more patients died from the virus since Sunday, bringing the state's total to 62 deaths. Among the positive cases in Kansas, 4.5% have resulted in death; that's up 0.2% since Saturday.
Sedgwick County now has 200 positive cases, up 2% from Sunday. There have been two COVID-19 deaths in Sedgwick County; among the cases in Sedgwick County, 1% have resulted in death.
