Wichita Police say a 24-year-old man performing in a reenactment at Wichita's Old Cowtown Museum was struck by gunfire.
It happened around 9 p.m. Friday. Around 15 people were performing in that reenactment when the man was shot in the upper chest. He was transported to a local hospital where he remains with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say blank rounds are supposed to be used in the reenactments and they are working to determine why that wasn't the case here.
