Wichita Police are investigating the shooting of a man in north Wichita Friday night.
It happened around 10 p.m., when they received a call about a possibly drunk individual on north Broadway.
When officers located the man, they discovered he was suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital in critical condition but is expected to recover.
Police believe the man was shot while walking in the 2600 block of north Market, which is about a block away from where he was found.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
