The battle against the pandemic goes on. Sedgwick County Commission Chair Pete Meitzner tells KNSS News the ages of those tested positive in the county have changed ... with fewer in the fifty-plus age group. He says they're seeing a few in the thirties and forties, and a few grade school kids, but the percentage of positive tests is "holding pretty steady".
Sedgwick County officials continue allocating 99 million dollars in CARES Act money for pandemic relief. Meitzner says there is still over 60 million to be handed out by year's end. Meitzner commented during his weekly appearance on the Steve and Ted in the Morning Show on KNSS.
