At Wednesday's meeting, the Sedgwick County Commission will hear from County Health Director Adrienne Byrne about preparation for corona virus. Commission Chair Pete Meitzner tells KNSS News Byrne addressed the Wichita City Concil last week on preparation for the virus.
Meitzner also says he and Wichita Mayor Brandon Whipple are combining forces ... to get the word out about the federal cencus. He says it's an important head-count, taken every ten years. He says it could mean millions of dollars in federal dollars for Kansas. He urges all Kansans to cooperate with the census takers;
