Wichita Police and SWAT team negotiators resolved a standoff this morning in east Wichita.
It happened at a home in the 800 block of S. Mission, near Lincoln and Woodlawn. Police say shots were reportedly fired in the home, with children inside. Those inside the residence were uncooperative but negotiators were able to resolve the situation peacefully.
Police are still actively investigating the incident, according to a tweet from WPD Chief Gordon Ramsay.
