One person is dead following a shooting incident in south east Wichita.
It happened in the 1500 block of south Battin, near Harry and Oliver, at around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Wichita police responded to a shots fired call and found a black man, 25, with gunshot wounds.
The man was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.
No arrests have been made. The case remains under investigation.
