Wichita police responded to a shooting call in the area of 21st and Amidon. It happened around 9:00 p.m. Wednesday night.
Wichita Police Sgt. John Bogle says a 36-year-old male suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
"The victim was found at the south end of the bridge on Amidon," said Sgt. Bogle. "He was located by citizens passing by driving through the area." Police say his wounds appear to be non-life-threatening. Police report no suspects in custody.
