A woman has died following a crash on I-235 and West Street. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol the accident happened before 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
A trailer detached from a northbound pick-up truck. The trailer crossed the median and struck an SUV head-on. The driver of the SUV is identified as 31-year-old Sandy Reyes of Wichita. She was taken to Via Christi St, Francis Hospital, where she later died.
