Sedgwick County Health Director: "Flu is very alive and well"

Sedgwick County Health Director Adrienne Byrne spoke to the Sedgwick County Commission Tuesday morning. While much of the health news around the world is centered on the Coronavirus, Byrne reported that the Flu is rampant across the state and in the county, and thus a bigger concern locally. However, she said it's not too late to get a flu shot.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment confirms widespread flu activity in the state.


Meanwhile, 99% of the Coronavirus cases are in China, according to the World Health Organization.
