Thunderstorms with some hail rumbled across south central Kansas from west to east early Tuesday. The National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 8 a.m. that included Sedgwick, Butler, and Harvey Counties.
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued for Kingman County around 2 a.m. Storm spotters reported half-inch hail near Spivey and nickel-sized hail near Garden Plain, along with moderate-to-heavy rainfall across the area. No major damage or injuries were reported.
