Job cuts are coming to Textron Aviation.
The company says they plan to cut nearly 2,000 positions world-wide, which accounts for 6% of their workforce.
A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission indicates Wichita workers will also be affected. 9,000 are employed at the Wichita plant, but it's not known how many will be affected.
The company says the move is due to the economic impact of the pandemic. There's no word on when the cuts will take place.
