Two people are dead in southeast Kansas after a pickup truck collided with a combine on a bridge in Neosho County. The Kansas Highway Patrol says the crash occurred before 6 p.m. Monday on 160th Road, two-and-a-half miles west of Highway 59, a few miles southeast of Chanute.
There were two occupants in the pickup truck, both were killed in the crash. They were identified as 67-year-old Michael Drake and 63-year-old Marilyn Drake of Buffalo, Kansas. The driver of the combine was not injured.
