A man was shot and killed in N. Wichita.
It happened about 9:00 p.m. Monday at Baby Dolls, in the 4900 block of N. Arkansas.
The victim was 33-year-old Joseph Wheeler III; he was found dead from gunshots wounds in a red Jaguar in the parking lot behind the business.
Investigators believe there was a disturbance inside the bar, which spilled out into the parking lot, and that this was not a random incident.
This is the 35th criminal homicide case in 34 weeks this year in Wichita.
