Tuesday's Wichita City council consent agenda meeting lasted only 14 minutes. Council member Becky Tuttle updated the city and citizens on how things were going for the Recovery task force.
“Just rest assured there is content experts who are working on this, to insure that when we do go back to whatever our new normal will be, there are people who are putting a lot of time and energy into the process," she said.
A mix of county and city officials comprises the recovery Task Force, along with business and educational leaders. The group is exploring how to safely reopen the city and Sedgwick County after the COVID-19-related stay-at-home order expires.
