The Wichita Police Department is investigating a fatality accident involving a 63-year-old man. It happened around 5:50 p.m. Friday. A Wichita Police officer drove up on an injury accident at Pawnee and McLean involving a car and motorcycle. The 63-year-old motorcyclist was found in critical condition and died on the scene while the driver of the car sustained minor injuries. The investigation revealed the car was traveling south on McLean and was turning to go east on Pawnee while the motorcyclist was traveling north on McLean. The vehicles collided in the intersection. Police say they don't believe speed, alcohol, or drugs were a factor in the accident.
The name of the victim has not been released.
